Guestlist: Monroes - London
Monroe’s is unlike most traditional London bars given its royal design and multi-room premise. In fact, when you walk into Monroe’s not only will you find a dance floor and a lounge, but also a VIP Lounge known as the Cristal Bar, a separate restaurant area, a private dining room and lounge area, a cigar bar, a roof terrace area, and eight hotel suites for those who do not want to wonder home on the tube after hours. In short, a visit to the exquisite Monroe’s nightclub is like a visit to a clustered nightclub area complete with every amenity that you could need in one night out on the town!
When you walk into Monroe’s you enter a land of royalty, or at least this is the air that the interior designers would like to give off as the royal ambience is completed with mahogany rich wooden floors and trimming alongside plenty of red and purple velvet plush seat. The walls are also a royal dark shade of crimson in most areas and the lighting is kept rich and in warm red hues adding to the overall seductive and sultry feeling that the design of the club gives off. In the summer time or warmer temperatures the cocktail garden and rooftop terrace of at NO. 5 is also worth the time to check out.
Despite its reserved royal colour scheme, Monroe’s is not for the ill of heart. Filled with energy pumped into the three dance floors with a mix of funky house music, electro beats, and R&B be prepared to bump and grind with the best while inside.
Monroe’s is located at 5 Cavendish Square and from the rooftop terrace you can easily look out over the square and get a bird’s eye view of the nighttime festivities of the area. The quickest way to get to Monroe’s is by getting off at the Oxford Street tube station.
